Specifications and Exclusive Qualities

LED lights—are 7 colors that are orange, green, blue, pink, yellow, purple, and red with 2 intensity levels of dim or bright. The “light” button turns the unit off and on. It is also used for one fixed color, the 7 different light colors, brightness level, and automatic rotating light color in a fading effect. The “mist” button lets you choose an intermittent mist to diffuse for 30 seconds on and 30 seconds off, or a continuous mist that will run for 8 to 10 hours and cover your space up to 150-square feet. The unit also operates with the light off.

Essential oils—must be 100% pure therapeutic grade including citrus oils for the best benefits. Add 3-5 drops of oil and you are ready to enjoy. It is recommended that room temperature water be used with citrus oils not hot water.

Remove the cover—and add water using the included measuring cup not to go past the Maxline. Add your favorite essential oil. Put the cover back on, tighten, plug in, and turn on.

Maintenance—is quick and hassle-free. After you use your unit 5 to 6 times, first unplug the unit from the base. Fill the water reservoir with 100 mL (3.38 ounces) of water and one tablespoon of citric acid (sour salt) or two tablespoons of distilled (white) vinegar. Use a cotton swab to clean after letting the mixture soak 5 to 10 minutes. Pour out the solution being careful not to let it get into the air outlet hole on the side. Never submerge the unit in water. Allow the unit to air dry or use a paper towel to dry it inside and out. Mildew and bacteria will grow in your diffuser if you let water sit inside for days and weeks. Always leave it clean and dry when not in use.

As a youngster, I have vivid memories of walking through the large fantastic garden my dad kept for his entire life. It was there I learned about all the plants and the varied, important properties they can offer humanity. A cool morning misty walk down the meandering paths was a child’s delight, and something I still do to this day in my own sprawling gardens. While I have stepped back from the day-to-day managing of Wellness Appliances, I intend to continue contributing articles on subjects that matter to me from time to time. My days are largely filled volunteering at the local co-op, tooling in my vegetable and fragrance gardens (which I attempt to keep as a year-round gardens), writing, and being the leader of the pack to my two dogs Jacko and Lea.
